NFL Lockout - a suggestion

I have no idea about the issues surrounding the NFL lockout.  But I have a suggestion - cancel the season.  Then, take all of the moneys which have been allocated to every aspect of the game from the players to the managers/owners, from the stadium upkeep and management to the advertisers, from the news commentators to the beer distributors, and any other dollars that may be found, and use those funds for education. As an additional gesture, have all of the players, coaches, managers, etc. teach for a year.  Then, maybe then, people will recognize the relative importance of these things.
