Retirement - 8 days and counting

Not much to say at this point.  One week and a day from now, it will be all over. Twenty-two and 1/2 years of college administration and teaching.  I can't believe that it is over or how fast it all went flying by.  It was my life's focus for those years, though I didn't mean for that to happen. Amazing!  Looking back to my early twenties, I would never have believed that I was going to be a college professor, but...  Oh well, on to the next phase and quite frankly, I am ready for the shift.  BTW, our friend Judy just brought us a great partner for retirement - a beautiful brindle 1.5 year old boxer.  In less than two days, we have quickly bonded, and like Lily for the past 12 years, our new companion, Diva, is at my feet as I type this.  Much more later.
