See if this gets a couple of looks

In keeping with the name of this blog, I am amused by people who wonder around various stores while talking on their cell phones. I can understand occasionally needing the input of others in some purchase or another but... Give me a break! People just seem to carry on everyday, over-a-cup-of-coffee conversations without concern for who hears what. Honestly, I don't care what you wore last night nor do I care what your date said.

Recently, I have started just wandering around stores while pretending to talk on my cell phone. I have none in my hand, nor am I wearing one of those, Blue-tooth contraptions that look like they belong to the Borg. I am just talking outloud, occasionally nodding my head or making hand jesture as I might in a real phone conversation.

Try it yourself. Just walk around answering unheard questions or asking simple questions. Or better yet, describe what you are doing or seeing in the store, or even better, make comments to your unseen caller about what others around you are doing while they are shopping. Watch and see what happens.
