Expand Cash for Clunkers Program - Rebates for Wrecks

The Cash for Clunkers program is off to a great start. To take advantage of this idea and momentum, I think we should expand it to retire other, seemingly "functional, working," things that are no longer effective. I'll start the list with a couple of suggestions. Maybe you can add some more.

Turn in and update any of the following and get the noted rewards:

1. Congress member over 12 years in office - $ .50 (worth every bit of "two bits", if you know what I mean.)
2. Radio pundits - $100.00 (I would have suggested more but let's face it, the radio air waves are not yet digital, so these guys and gals are really ready to be retired.)
   
   Additions:
3. Spouses of more than 5 years - more than you can afford (but for everything else there’s MasterCard)
4. All federal programs - that are outside the intentions of our founding fathers
